TITUSVILLE DAIRY PRODUCTS CO. PLEDGES $50,000TO EDUCATION & TRAINING CENTER AT PITT-TITUSVILLE

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – Titusville Dairy Products Co. has pledged $50,000 to the Education & Training Center at Pitt-Titusville to support its education and workforce training programs.

“We are grateful to Titusville Dairy Products for this gift to support the ETC’s programs,” said Rick Esch, Pitt-Titusville’s president. “The gift will help to enhance ETC’s programs, so students get the education and training they need, in two years or fewer, to begin a fulfilling career and make important contributions to the community.”

ETC programs include a clinical medical assistant and phlebotomy program offered by Brockway Center for Arts & Technology, several associate degree programs provided by the Northern Pennsylvania Regional College, basic machining and CNC programming through Pitt’s Swanson School of Engineering’s Manufacturing Assistance Center, and the associate of science in nursing program offered by Pitt-Titusville and Pitt-Bradford.

Last month, ETC unveiled the newly renovated spaces in the J. Curtis McKinney II Student Union, which will benefit several of ETC’s programs. The new areas include a makerspace, the Peter C. Rossin Manufacturing Center, a MAC gallery, a new digital arts lab, an industrial maintenance lab, and several new general classrooms.

“We are blessed to be part of this wonderful community for nearly 100 years,” said Chuck Turner, president. “Because the men and women who work at Titusville Dairy are the heart and soul, we are excited to make this investment in the education and development of those in our region. ETC at Pitt-Titusville is important to this region’s future, and Titusville Dairy is pleased to be a small part of it.”

Titusville Dairy Products Co. was established in 1926. The company specializes in manufacturing diary by-products, including ice cream mix, cream cheese, sour cream and yogurt, and is the only Grade A cottage cheese manufacturer in Pennsylvania.
